👉Eligibilty Criteria:-

• Proven Experience in Linux: Strong experience working with Linux environments.
• MySQL Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience in managing large MySQL databases (1TB+), including experience with InnoDB storage engines and replication configurations.
• Scalable Database Management: Worked with multi-master database clusters (10+ nodes), and proficient in managing large-scale database systems.
• Database Best Practices: Deep understanding of best practices in MySQL database management, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Resource Planning & Capacity Management: Ability to plan resource requirements and manage capacity from high-level specifications to ensure optimal performance.
• Database Troubleshooting: Knowledge of common limitations in MySQL and experience with workarounds compared to other relational databases.
• Version Control: Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git.
• Mentorship Skills: Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers to grow their skills.
• SQL/NoSQL Experience: Familiarity with other SQL or NoSQL databases is a plus. Cross-database Expertise: Knowledge of MySQL limitations and their workarounds when compared to other popular relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.

1. Provision and Manage MySQL Clusters:
   Provision, manage, and optimize multi-master MySQL and Galera clusters deployed across different geographical locations.
2. Database Performance and Security:
   Ensure optimal performance, security, and high availability of database systems for a high-demand environment with tens of terabytes of data.
3. Database Maintenance:
   Handle core database tasks such as upgrades, backups, recovery, and migration with minimal downtime.
4. Database Change Management:
   Effectively manage and apply schema changes, DDL operations, and database tuning.
5. Infrastructure Management:
   Oversee infrastructure components beyond the database systems and ensure the overall reliability of the service.
6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
   Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, including hardware, software, applications, and network.
7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
   Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and resolve database-related challenges.
8. On-call Rotation:
   Participate in the on-call rotation to handle database-related incidents and ensure uninterrupted service.
